A note about research

A note about photos

Photo credits and sources are given when possible. The Santa Cruz Sentinel was kind enough to allow me to post pictures that accompanied articles. It was my decision to make copies of the articles and scan them. I did not ask for original photos. I felt the black and white scans are suitable to illustrate the historical significance of the events. If the quality seems poor, it's my fault and not the fault of the Sentinel or photographers.
The Howell Rommel photo from 1958 came from a newspaper called I think, Property, or Monterey Bay Property. The article was incomplete. The date is Dec 1981.
